Meet Duchess
At first I thought this was some sort of furry event or American Apparel promotion, or both, but it's for Cats on Broadway, a musical. According to The Bruce High Quality Foundation site, "Set on the border between Bed-Stuy and Bushwick (Broadway, Brooklyn) and performed in the newly renovated Bruce High Quality Foundation Theater (1100 Broadway, Brooklyn), Cats on Broadway brings together an all-volunteer cast of performers, musicians, stagehands, and designers to reflect the emotional conflicts of the gentrification of Brooklyn while satirizing both the utopian reform schemes and self-pitying nihilism often associated with the artists responsible for gentrification’s 'first wave.'”

Missing Cat

Whenever you get a cat you have to rename it. It doesn't matter how old the cat is or what the previous owner named him. When our cats were adopted they were Hallow and Weenie, because one is orange and the other is black. They became Arlo and Guthrie.
This cat is named Bob Dylan. Whoever finds him will have to change that. Robert Zimmerman has a nice ring to it.

Missing Cat
Found in the West Village near where all the dogs have gone missing. Maybe the dognappers are branching out into other species.

Awesome Stoop Sale

Found:

The saddest of all flyers.
If Shakespeare had written a play called "Lost Kitty", it would surpass all of his other tragedies combined.
"To be, or not to be? That is the question" is like reading a cell phone contract when compared to "I'm a lost kitty! Which way is home?"

Miss Lisa's Cat Sitting and Dog Walking
This is your average flyer, except for the illustration of the cat in the upper left corner. Here it is enlarged so you can see it better.
That's a creepy looking cat. If I were taking care of it, I would wonder if it were giving birth. Or taking a dump. Or both simultaneously. Or maybe it's just plotting my murder.

Dogwalking for Rainforests
I found this in the East Village. Dogwalking for Rainforests donates 30% of their profits to do-gooder organizations. We're going on vacation next week and we need someone to take care of our cats so we're giving the tree-hugging pet sitters a call.

Pet Portraits
I found this near Union Square and I'll bet that in every city in America there's an artist attempting to make a cottage industry out of painting dogs and cats.
