Dear Bike Thief

Most criminals are stupid.
That's why they can't make an honest living
and that's why they get caught.

Lost Chihuahua

It's been a few months since the last dognapping in my neighborhood. Someone suggested to me that these stolen dogs are being used for pitbull training. What a way to go. Adios, Chi-Chi.

Found in Soho.

Missing Cat

Found in the West Village near where all the dogs have gone missing. Maybe the dognappers are branching out into other species.

Lost Dog

The canine-snatching crime wave continues in the Washington Square Park/Lower 5th Avenue area.

When the New York Post and the Daily News put this on the front page they can use these headlines:
DOG GONE!
HOT DOGS!
POOCH POACHERS!
TERRIERISM!

Stolen

Found at 5th Avenue and 10th Street.

My instincts were right - there is dognapper loose in the neighborhood. "Peter" might also have stolen this dog and this one too.

When you read about this in the New York Times you can say that you saw it here first.

Reward $1000 Cash

This is the second lost dog flyer I've found in my neighborhood in a week. I suspect that there's a dognapper loose. All the more reason to boycott Saigon Grill.

Hit & Run - Part 3

The reward is up tp $20,000. On the previous flyer it was only $6,000. That's enough money to make you check up on your neighbor, the one with the Chevy S-10 Blazer. Does it have front end damage? Has it been parked in the garage all month? Does he look nervous? Sweaty? Guilty?

Hit & Run - Part 2

The man behind this mission is Dan Henk, Monica's husband. He made a series of flyers that he posted all over the area of the hit and run. You can read all of the details of the case at danhenk.com.

Hit & Run - Part 1

I was in Bushwick and Williamsburg this weekend where I saw a lot of these. Monica Henk was the victim of a hit and run at the corner of Kent & Flushing Ave. in Brooklyn at about 7am on Saturday, April 7th, 2007. The cops are looking for a black, 95-97 Chevy S-10 Blazer with front end damage.
